Eric is a seasoned professional in the ready mix industry with over 17 years of experience in various roles, including business development, management, and operations oversight. Eric's journey in the ready mix industry started when he was in his early twenties, working as a ready mix operator and plant operator for a local concrete supplier.
Eric was soon promoted to the role of Plant/Territory Manager, where he oversaw the plant team, developed operational strategies, and spearheaded the company's growth initiatives. His focus on building strong relationships and understanding customer needs allowed the company to achieve significant growth during his tenure. Further into his career, Eric transitioned to the role of Operations Manager, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations, managed the team, and implemented process improvements to increase productivity, cost controls, and overall efficiency.
Throughout his career, Eric also took on business development and people development responsibilities. He focused on developing a company culture that valued growth, development, and teamwork, resulting in a more engaged and motivated workforce. He developed training programs, mentored employees, and built a talent pipeline to ensure the company had the right people in the right roles.
Eric's hard work and dedication paid off, and he was offered the opportunity to lead Viola Ready Mix. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the business, from sales and operations to safety initiatives and financials, developing and executing the company's strategic plan to ensure they continue to deliver exceptional service. His passion for the industry combined with his expertise has allowed him to thrive, and he looks forward to continuing to drive innovation and growth as President of Viola Ready Mix.
